How much lead time does HLR need if I want to collect the material myself?

We understand that your rental requirements can also develop at very short notice and make it our mission to help you as our customer in these cases too.

Ideally, you should contact our hire office at least one working day before the planned collection so that we can process your enquiry accordingly and prepare it for collection.

Can I come to the camp without prior contact?

In any case, please refrain from travelling to our warehouse locations without prior agreement. The products you require may not be available at short notice and your journey would therefore be in vain. In addition, our warehouse staff are not authorised to create and confirm rental orders, so that the rental office (between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. / Tel. 040-696 357 30) must be consulted in all cases.

How can I deregister the material from the rental?

The cancellation of the material from the rental must be made in writing. Please send your cancellation to the e-mail address abmeldung@hlr-lifting.de.

How is the end of the lease determined?

The effective end of hire date is the date on which the goods arrive at our HLR warehouse location.

Deviating agreements can only be made with written cancellation and must be confirmed in writing in advance by an HLR employee.

What is the procedure for returning rental equipment to the HLR warehouse?

If you return the material to the storage location from which you picked it up, we will accept the material after a brief completeness and visual inspection and book it out of the rental. The hire ends on the day of return.

A detailed inspection for any damage or heavy soiling may be delayed by up to 3 working days after return due to the current work situation.

How and when do I get the rented equipment?

When the contract is concluded, we generally agree on collection by the customer at an agreed HLR warehouse location and on a specific collection date. The collection/return must take place during the goods acceptance or issue time.

Loading/unloading at HLR:
Vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes = Gate 6
Vehicles heavier than 3.5 tonnes = Gate 1 (reverse approach)
